These are crucial for interviews in many companies, there are few subjects which haunt students with a margin of marks, with these two issues many students get behind with other students.
JNTUH Grace marks and Credit Exemption
Don’t worry guys here is some good news to all of you, JNTU has announced few advantages to the students who are lacking some credits and to the people who are failing in subjects with less margin of Marks.
Let’s see how can a student get 0.15% Grace marks to get his Provisional Certificate(PC) or To add that 0.15% to their Aggregate percentage in Provisional Certificate (PC)
Who are eligible for Grace Marks?
If a student has required Credits and eligible for Provisional Certificate (PC) but failed in one or two subjects is eligible to apply for this. The student has to give up the performance in these subjects and apply for PC, Students who want to avail these Grace marks should never apply for the supplementary exam for those subjects

How many Subjects maximum?
Students can only avail Grace marks in maximum of Two subjects in their Four year academics. These Grace marks are Applicable only for External marks only
How many Marks can be added?
- For Lateral Entry students Maximum Grace marks would be 7 or 8 . whether to add in one subject or to aggregate marks will be done according to the best interest of the student
- For students who joined after Intermediate Maximum, Grace marks would be 10. whether to add in one subject or to aggregate marks will be done according to the best interest of the student
How To Apply For Grace Marks?
Take all the necessary documents to apply for Grace marks and submit it in the Examination Branch/Principle of your college and Principal will forward it to the Evaluation Branch. Application can be downloaded from

Documents Required
- Photocopy of SSC
- Photocopy of the semester certificates for which you want apply
- Fill up the Undertaking Form
Forms Accordingly
Download the forms according to Student Requirement from the link provided above and submit it to the Principal Office with Required Documents
- Normally there is no fee for this Procedure
- For Tatkal who has less time (Generally, office takes one or two weeks) has to pay 2000 via challan
